1.        On September 17, a Memorandum was signed between MOFCOM and DFID on China UK Global Health Support Programme, which laid a foundation for the programme approval.

2.        Department of International Cooperation (DIC) of NHFPC initiated the tendering procedures for the Programme Management Office (PMO) in October, Center for Project Supervision and Management (CPSM) of the former Ministry of Health was selected as the successful tenderer on December 4. 

3.        The 1^st SOM Meeting was held on December 18 in Beijing. The meeting defined the programme’sSOC memberships including DFID China, Department of International Economics and Trade Affairs (DIETA) OF MOFCOM and DIC of NHFPC.
