Supported by the DIC of NHFPC, DFID, and WHO, The 8th Global Health Diplomacy Executive Training Course was organized by the School of Public Health, PKU and Jiangsu Provincial Institute of Parasitic Diseases from 17 to 21October 2016 in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The Training Course was organized by the School of Public Health, PKU and successfully became a classic training program in the field global health governance, with remarkable domestic and international influence on global health education, research and training. With the supported of the China-UK Global Health Support Programme (GHSP), a Training Course on Vector-borne Tropical Diseases and Global Health was held from 21 November to 25 November 2016 in Urumqi, Xinjiang. It’s organized by NIPD, China CDC. More than 70 trainees from more than 20 provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, CDCs, parasitic diseases institutions that are responsible for the prevention and treatment of parasitic diseases, participated in the training. On 16 December 2016, Fundan held the 2016 Annual Management Meeting and Internal Closure Seminar of theOP302 project supported by GHSP in Hubei Hotel in Beijing. The meeting was organized by School of Public Health, Fudan University. Nine senior experts in the field of global health as well as 23 members from four PCAs attended the meeting. A Project Management Office on MCH Pilot Project Established in Ethiopia

On 29August 2016, the FUGHI officially set up a PMO for the overall management work of the Pilot Project on MCH (hereinafter referred to as the Ethiopian Project Office in Tirunesh-Beijing Hospital, Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Project Office will undertake the roles and responsibilities to communicate with project partners, coordinate between Fudan University and its collaborating institutions, supervise project progress and deliverables, submission, assist with project equipment procurement and financial management, coordinate with the GHSP PMO for project supervision, handle emergencies occurred during the project process, and participate in the scientific research work in Ethiopia. The second round of the midwifery training programme was held from 27 November to 2 December 2016.
