The 3rd Training Course on Global Health and Tropical Diseases Aid for Professionals held in Shanghai
National Institute of Parasitic Diseases (NIPD), China CDC held the 3rd Training Course on Global Health and Tropical Diseases Aid in Shanghai on 8 May 2016. Eighteen trainees from provincial CDC, institutes of parasitic diseases, NIPD and two African countries: Ethiopia and Nigeria, participated in the training course. All the trainees were professionals working on the control of tropical diseases, such as malaria, schistosomiasis, etc. (OP202)

2016 PKU-DUKE Global Health Certificate Programme held in Kunshan
2016 PKU-DUKE Global Health Certificate Program was co-organized by School of Public Health, Peking University and Duke Kunshan University during 30 May to 10 June 2016 in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The program received more than 160 applications. The program applied an integrated approach combing thematic lectures with group discussions. The thematic lectures presented an overview of global health, global health ethics, health systems and global health promotion, etc. (OP301)

Fudan Global Health Institute successfully completed a second supervision mission in Ethiopia
Fudan supervision team led by Dr. Yan Ding conducted a field supervision mission for the GHSP-CS-OP4-V01 Project at Gonji Kolela, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia from 27 April to 3 May 2016. (OP4V01)
Successfully completed community mobilization and health education activities by the field team of China-UK-Tanzania Malaria Control Pilot Project on World Malaria Day in Tanzania
On world malaria day of 2016, the work team of China-UK-Tanzania Malaria Control Pilot Project from NIPD of China CDC (Duoquan Wang, Zhengbin Zhou, Yongbin Wang, Xiaotao Zhao) with Ifakara Health Institute(IHI) carried out activities on community mobilization and health education successfully in the pilot communities of Rufiji District. GHSP PMO Coordination Meeting on Oversea Pilot Projects Held in Shanghai
On 15 June 2016, Centre for Project Supervision and Management of National Health and Family Planning Commission (PMO) held the meeting on oversea pilot projects in Shanghai. About 20 representatives from DFID, PMO, two PIAs under output 4 for oversea pilot projects including Global Health Institute of Fudan University and Institute of Parasitic Diseases of China CDC, and their PCAs including MSI China and IHI attended the meeting.
